The Fountainhead

Staring into an abyss, at wit’s end

Searching for a tiny flicker of light

Realisation dawned, for our own, we must fend

Instilling faith, the day then seemed bright

.

What you seek is found in thy soul

The speck of light that glows from within

Waiting for others affirmations is like a pothole

As everyone differs on their sins

.

Our fate is a result of our own actions and reactions

With this ‘fountainhead’ of wisdom clarity dawned

Give and take is omnipresent in life’s transactions

Always be the best version of yourself and respond
