Our Machine

Thank you, my dear senses, for,

Showing me, what life is,

Making me hear the unheard,

Tuning my olfactory system,

Training my taste buds, and

Polishing my whole self.

.

Thank you, my dear white friends, for,

Giving me a shape, and

Teaching me to walk and run.

.

Thank you, my dear spirited soul, for,

Putting up with my whims and fancies, and

Not giving up on me.

.

Not just thanks, as,

I would like to apologize, for,

Not paying heed to the advice,

That you indicated time to time.

.

I would like to apologize, for,

Putting you under the knife,

For mistakes, that weren’t yours, but mine.

.

Oh my dear body,

I would just like to say,

I am really sorry.
