The Road

The banter at places

The criss cross happening around

Nothing seems to stop

Men and women, where wilfully flock!

.

There’s music in every move

On the road

The road that travels us places

And inhabits in it

Dozens of lives

Few happy and few with crevices

And few just plain, no one notices!

.

The horns from behind and sides

By the hurried ones, for reasons, delight and plight

And casual pedestrians, on left and right

No race seen, in their stride!

.

Hundred emotions

A million stories

The road carries

To miles unknown

Burdened is it, by any of them?

Nay! Buries them all in itself

There and then!
