Why Can’t You Hear Me?

Can you hear me?

No! You can’t! I know.

I’m aghast! Is it my fate then?

Ignored, rejected and tattered self!

I can’t hear you

When I need you I’ll reach out to you

Take it easy! Be calm!

Right now I’m too busy to pay heed to you!

Selfish! The world is cruel.

I need a shoulder to cry or take some rest!

Is this expected from you?

I’m appalled by your coldness!

Can’t you see what I’m doing?

Hygiene is the basic necessity of today’s times

I got to do this and you can’t stop me

Lest that stupid virus makes me its prey!

The sudden strokes of madness befalls you

For curing one you can’t acquire another!

Making the home a swimming pool is not justified!

Being a mom to this insane craziness is a terrible thing!
