Alphabets dance and garland,
Into words and sentences,
No matter how inane.
The compulsion to be visible,
Throbbing in each capillary.
The fear of oblivion – stifling,
The opium of conspicuity –
Arresting, overpowering.
Mediocrity – an impatient bargain,
A small price…to stay afloat.
