Let’s trace the beginning,
Of all the living things.
Insects, animals and plants
Were the first on this planet.
Slowly came into existence,
The Neanderthals and Cro Magnons
As the first humans.
Then came the stone and metal ages,
And opened new passages,
The dire needs of the early humans,
Led to multiple inventions.
Don’t forget to thank Mr. Bell,
The next time you hear the phone bell.
Think about Mr. Waterman,
Whenever you hold a pen.
Wright Brothers and their Glider
Gave us the first air carrier.
Vast are the sands of time
As they do imbibe
The footprints of our predecessors,
Of us and our successors.
