Every day you waking up is a boon
Marvelling at GOD’s melodious tune
The privilege of witnessing another day
Head bowed in surrender, I pray
The chance to start anew
To improvise yourself and review
The things in life that you need
Shouldn’t be begged for or plead
Taking baby steps in this odyssey
Fulfilling my duties with honesty
Lifes a gift to be cherished
Like an ice cream, it’s to be relished
Don’t wait for the time to be right
With content and smile, lay down at night
Pray to be condoned and confess your follies
Live each day to the fullest and make new stories
