You stepped into my life, like a gentle knock to the heart
Kissing and curing every scar of yore’s hurt
Your magical touch healed all the wounds
My hapless heart flutters as if it knows no bounds.

My solitary nights now love-soaked
Like the seashore pebbles, they clang and clatter
Like a dream catcher, you shield me from every evil
Gifting me a radiant life free from all perils.

Even the rains are happy they don’t have to hide my tears
The greys shriek, growl but I don’t fear
Like a cherry blossom, I blush and twirl
For you entered my life like a feathery knock to the heart.
