Inspiration

I summon distant, jumbled words

Tucked like islands in creaky brain

Dodging my strikes, they inflict pain

I pray for wisdom of  the nerds

.

Taking pity, they queue in herds

Inspiring me to frame a chain

I summon distant, jumbled words

Tucked like islands in creaky brain

.

I dream of thoughts flying like  birds

And words flowing in steady train

And rashly scribble, words inane

Surpassing my slim past records

I summon distant, jumbled words

.
