If wishes were horses

If wishes were horses

Beggars would ride

They would be reindeer

Endure cold without fear

Ferry the old man

To fulfill wishes

If wishes were horses

I would again

Relive the days squandered away

Shed Lazy dreams

Demolish castles built  in the air

Overcome misery that lay

In wishful thinking

Fulfill dreams by determination

If wishes were horses

The world would be healthy

Protected from the monster

Stable and wealthy

Handshake would be habitual

The air would be clear.

If wishes were horses

Beggars would ride

Sins on the planet would subside

Only if

Wishes were horses
