Icicle
Icicle, icicle, icicle
I want to bite an -icicle, icicle, icicle
I want to bite an icicle
I want a piece of ice.
I want to eat it where I like
I want to eat it now.
****
You say cough, I say cold,
You say fever, I say hold:
Let not your imagination go bold.
****
Icicle, icicle, icicle
I want to chew an icicle
I want to munch some ice.
****
You say fridge, I say woods n’ hanging stalactites
You say frost, I say fun
Hold your horses, don’t let your monkey mind run.
****
Icicle, icicle, icicle,
I want adventure in the wilderness
I want to touch boughs with snowy lace.
I want tongue tingling ice.
Nothing matters but the feel of ice.
I want to eat it now .

Here goes Letter ” I”
This is an experiment, I’ve tried rhyming this poem with the pop group Queen- Freddie Mercury’s “Bicycle”.
