Read the poetry
I am a mother
And the title tells a story.
I am not judging anyone
Nor I want to blame someone.
For I have my own
Little battles to win each day,
Infact my world has more
Games that I actually lose.
To see smiles
And let peace prevail.
I am a mother
May be not like any other
I yell, scream, lose my temper
I have been worse on days.
And sat by the moonlight
To shed my tears.
People seem to appreciate
And praise the family name,
But one mistake
And yes there comes my Name.
I am a mother
I know the devil
residing in evil acts,
I know the angel
making everything right.
But I have no control
My mind is now insane.
No one dares to talk to me
When I go crazy
But I wish someone asked me why?
Let me be alone
I say aloud
And things just vanish around.
I am a mother
I complain, crib, nag,
Even bang my head.
But that’s not because
I am at fault
That I punish myself,
I am tired, exhausted and lost.
I just need a little space
To breathe.
A smile, hug and appreciation
Is all I need.
I am a mother
I will love even while I am hating
What I do.
Only if you could understand
That even I have bad days like you.
I may not ask you to listen
But if you heard me
It will make a difference.
I am a mother
And would never make
a deal with life
For the blessing that
God gave me
Just to be, a Mom.
