Homeless

You and I share the same sky

Yet the insipid me waits eagerly for a glimpse of thee.

*

There’s the soil beneath my feet

A gleeful canopy above my head

Yet the fragile soul in solitude

Often feels homeless.

*

Seven oceans house inside me

Breathe an ever shimmering galaxy

Myriad colours gush through the veins

Yet the barren soul feels lonely.

*

The heart crowned with fragrant blooms

Sun and Moon rain from the eyes

Fluffy cotton wings help trek life’s peaks

Yet the weary heart often feels homeless.

*

Spring breeze erase all traces of yore

A rainbow of hope embrace my essence

Turtle dove sail in my flourishing sanity

Yet this soul often feels solitary.

*

You and I share the same sky

Yet the insipid me waits eagerly for a glimpse of thee.
