Grand Canyon

Seasons came,

Seasons went,

I silently stood,

Braving them all.

.

The sun, the moon,

The stars, the sky,

I have witnessed them

Across the ages.

.

The harshest winds,

The coldest frosts,

The torrential rains,

I have harbored them all.

.

Layer by layer,

Flake by flake,

Sculpted and chiseled,

I stand proud and tall

.

I carry a message,

reflect a trait,

That is quite often

Neglected by all

.

O ye Humans!

Let me tell,

My patience and grit

Has paid me well.
