Birds Of A Feather

Born on foreign soils,

Not knowing that we were mirrors of each other,

Did we realize we were meant to meet one day?

Paving our way into each other’s destiny!

Sisterhood became our call,

Each other’s family, in a home away from home,

Our tears fell together, when one was hurt,

The pain unbearable, breaking our hearts.

Parents stared in disbelief,

At the uncanny resemblance,

Not just in face, but in our souls too,

Kindred spirits we were,

Birds of a feather we were called,

That fate threw together.

Although again split,

Into two different corners of the world,

Our hearts remain entwined,

Birds of a feather, we in our hearts continue to flock together.
