Have you ever wondered gazing at the skylight

While you sleep cuddled in the night

It is the night of the knights

Warriors not just survivors of hindsight

While you sleep cuddled in the night

Fighters fight crime,mother cries at ailing child’s plight

Warriors not just survivors of hindsight

Of assaults,torture,murder,theft or blight

Each knight scuffling chivalrously in expedite

Of assaults,tortures,murder,theft or blight

Unfolds armour of strength and valor upright

Each knight is scuffling chivalrously in expedite

Disbar awful night to open new door forthright

Note – This is pantoum form of poetry.It is composed of a series of quatrains; the second and fourth lines of each stanza are repeated as the first and third lines of the next stanza. The pattern continues for any number of stanzas, except for the final stanza, which differs in the repeating pattern. The first and third lines of the last stanza are the second and fourth of the penultimate; the first line of the poem is the last line of the final stanza, and the third line of the first stanza is the second of the final.

It has rhyming scheme of ABAB and 8 to 10 syllables in each line.
