Ribbons and ropes

They saw decorated,

       Prim, pretty and proud,

                         Draped in satins

                                            So well endowed.

                                  A spectacular display,

                          The treasure at auction.

           An inviting sight,

In a rainbow of ribbons.

It was bridled and bound

           In tight-roped shakles.

                         Safe and sound, though

                                     Riddled and grappled.

                                 Beheld in rapture,

                         With promises and hopes.

            A catch, that was captured

In colourful ropes.
