Quarantine Times

Morning calls,

Time to rush,

Household chores beckon,

Wait! It was work from home yesterday,

Today, it’s office calling,

Oh shoot! Where is the sanitizer?

Surface disinfectant check,

Pull up your mask,

Hang on! Don’t touch that,

Don’t you know the Covid monster’s lurking?

Beware at all times,

Stand on guard,

Don’t let the mask slip,

Breathe deep through it all,

Only pull it down, when you eat or drink,

Step out only when necessary,

This is the new normal that goes on and on,

Quarantine times I believe,

Will linger for what feels like life long.
