The wallpaper of my phone
And that of my laptop,
Took me back to the times
Of sleepless days and nights.

Oh! It seems like yesterday,
That the house was filled
With constant wailings of
Hunger, pain, sleep or needing a hug.
.
Oh! How I miss those,
Tiny hands that reached out,
Tiny legs that stumbled over,
Lovely eyes and chubby cheeks that mesmerized.
.
Their first toothless smile,
Their grasp, soft yet firm,
Their first steps, unsteady yet confident,
Are still fresh in my mind.
.
How I wish, to cuddle both
Together in my arms like before,
How I wish, my life froze,
When they were just toddlers.
