Passion In Her Eyes

Down the roads she walked,

Often strumming her guitar,

Women laughed, men jeered,

To see this wisp of a girl.

She turned to glare at them,

Jutting out her chin, defiant,

Believing in her dreams,

And the passion in her eyes,

Shone bright, each time.

Finding her wings, she flew,

Social media became a boon,

Likes, followers, it was a rage,

Teen icon she was, at her age.

Today as she walked down,

Strumming her guitar,

Men and women followed,

With wish of an autograph.

Her only advice to the youth,

‘Find your passion and let it flow,

Believe someday you will grow,

To reach out to touch the endless sky.’
