I wish someone would break my fall!

My body bruised,

My soul tarnished,

I lie crumpled on the single bed.

I shiver at times,

I quiver in pain,

How he ravages my body, such shame!

None hears,

Or even speaks,

As my cries echo in the silence, each night.
