Prayers

prayers that the heart makes

sometimes sane but often insane…

*

i wish I were a bird

scouring the boundless blues

tickling the white fluffy flair

resting on the colourful meadow

sipping heaven’s downpour

relishing the soft spring breeze

basking in the silver beams,

*

i wish I were the sands

brought and returned

by the frothy ripples

my corroded self

waiting to unwind

on a virgin shore or

at the deepest ocean floor

Often on moonlit nights

the generous moon

would shower on me

its silver delight

illuminating my fragments

Making my pieces shine bright.

*

I wish I were a blossom

in your tiny garden

every autumn I would let go off

every dampening scar from your heart

all the deepest bruises from your soul

fill your life with fragrance

paint your days with vibrance

be the flower that never withers

brace every season without a shiver.

*

sometimes sane but often insane

Silly prayers this heart still makes.💚
