Hidden barren, growing
within her shrinking wilderness,
forlornly she dwells in sequestered
silences-
Where ashen sands sprawling
from horizon to horizon,
Wilting, bit by bit
her skin-deep blossoms.
Her bosom creased
of sun-baked emptiness-
Athirst
her torrid sky
yearning for misty embraces
of love-laden nimbus
She awaits
with bone-dry eyes
for irriguous smiles…
