In a Lighter Vein

When I was born ,my mother diligently obeyed

To her by the veterans ,all that was said

As we grew up we did blindly follow

Every word that our parents said

And then at school it all slowly changed to

“This is what my teacher said”

When the heart skipped a beat first time

To the beloved a lot was left to be said

I grew older and decisions for myself as I took

“What a rebel she is.” , about me was mostly said

No regret for the mistakes but only lessons learnt

As I always followed what my heart ever said

Just focus or you will end up perplexed

In this is what  “He said” and “She said”.

  1. Absolutely true! Listen to your heart💚 always… It helps even though the path is complicated and thorny the end result will be satisfying.💚💚

  2. The last sentence is amazing. He Said and She Said! Nice poem 🙂
