Submissive wife she is
After she is married.
Doing lot of household works
with a smile and no complain.
The hubby’s family loved her much
but their demands soared to heaven.
Father-in-law loves hot rice,
Mother-in-law loves paratha,
Brother-in-law demands dosa and
Hubby wants chicken do-piazza.
One day her friend arrives,
and finds to her dismay
lacklustered she looks,
as overworked she is.
Why do you so much work,
willingly submitting to others’ authority,
putting your own desires
lower than theirs?
Marriage is love and kindness
not to act as slave
Your goodness is your strength,
Give voice to your heart
and respect you will get from others.
