Zeal

In life, the stumbling blocks,

This, that and miscellaneous,

Surfaces, resurfaces,

Again and again,

With an unusual zeal.

Its recurrences,

Cannot always be anticipated,

And for that matter,

Cannot always be deterred,

By mere weak will.

.

One must have,

The same unusual zeal,

To vanquish,

Those ‘beasts’ of wilderness.

Or must be ready,

To be pulled down,

By their malevolent force,

Into the hellish cycle of,

Eternal darkness.

.

Now that is not commendable, isn’t it?

So let’s strive for the opposite.
