Wind

The wind has been too kind

Like the intervention, of Divine

It swiftly, flew past me

And gave me a moment of ecstacy

A stranger just passed by

An unexpected smile, we cast thy

.

Moments later

It swayed faster, with a thudding sound

Made many men, homebound

Topsy turvy, it turned the trees

Snatched the life of several leafs

A little further, it had thrown ripened fruits

All ready, for human-loot

.

Settling the dust on sides

Turning the sky, pellucid-bright

Ushering in a fresh set of thoughts

The wind, didn’t tell aloud, what all it had brought!

  1. Loved it. The journey of winds. None knows what it brings! I had written such a poem on clouds, don’t know where it is now. If I get I’ll post it. I loved your expression of smiling at unknown faces, scattered ripened fruits, detached leaves… 👌👌 perfect💚
