Walk on the Shore

Would I find a place in you

Would you call me among those few

Am I sitting in a corner of your heart

Or am I lost there, like a forgotten scar

Thinking of you, I feel fresh like dew

Crossed with thoughts of sipping brew

Being caressed in your arms’ warmth

I see dreams of us, wish in real I could flaunt

Sitting across the table with positioned eyes

Un-blinked they’d remain, I’d give you a tough fight

Then sometime later, we’d hold hands

Underneath the table, cosying up like warm sands

But would this all ever be true

Would you call me among those few?

And tell ’em all you love me more?

Every passing day, make me your core?

Would you someday propose to me?

And walk me alone on the shore?
