The gift of a smile

Beneath the ever smirking moon and sparkling stars,

I caught  a few smirking fireflies in my hands, making them ours,

Placed them atop on the plants that I grew in line,

To illuminate our spirit and make us shine.

.

Every day when the moon lingers behind,

 And the Sun sparkles brightly upon us and shine,

The plants start dancing and reply,

To  the whispers of smirking fireflies.

.

The magical, enchanting sightof exchange of smiles;

Amongst the three of them,so bright;

Makes the air colourful and light,

That enlightens me to exchange the gift of a smile.

.

Soothingly, it cleanses throbbing pains

Intricately, it crafted, devoid of faults or chains

Tenderly, it spreads like homemade  butter

Melts the burning hearts of each other

.

They say hormones it releases, cortisol, and endorphins

Health benefits it provides many

Blood pressure and pain reduces

Calmness and endurance it increases

.

 The iridescent hues in the air,

Start a day with a contagious smile,

For life’s a cloning image when we smile,

Smile comes back to embrace us, I guarantee

As the smile is a key that fits the heart’s lock of everybody!
