Sunset.

Our sweetsour life,

With its busy-idle moments,

Slowly takes the traveler in us,

Towards the final cycle,  

Of sunset, remnant.

.

They say, every good thing,

Has an ending.

The sunset phase of our life, 

Confirms this age-old saying.

.

Our actions, reactions,

Conflicts and disagreements,

Now becomes a thing of past-

And now the journey,

Is all about enlightenment,

To find peace, everlast.

.

Since the tired but wiser traveler in us,

Is now in a quest for peace,

We embrace this phase of sunset,

With our open arms,

As if, finally, we are offering life,

An everlasting truce.
