Rumour mongers are everywhere
Engaged in idle talks about others.
We have a couple in our neighborhood
Apt in this art both the two.
Spreading news of others always
They have been labelled as news mongers.
One day I told them,
“Always treat others with respect.
I know they are not exactly your best friends.
But speaking so much about them
Which may not be true and is this
the way to resolve the issues ?
They got hurt with my words
And since then avoided talking with me.
It’s a boon in disguise
I am enjoying these days
The nonsense talks are no more,
And my mind is at peace now a days.
Way to go, ma’am. Good riddance, that. 🙂💚💚
