Resplendent Beauty

Roses and Jasmine bloomed together,

Slowly she appeared from the placid lake,

                            *

Heavenly beauty setting water ablaze,

Lustrous eyes having intoxicating gaze.

                             *

Radiant beads of water dripping down her curls,

That like dark clouds adorned  her cheek pearls,

                      *

Heady fragrance of  white Jasmine strings,

Musical clinking of red green glass bangles,

                              *

In a trance I drunk at the Elysian Fields,

Bewildered  whether It hurt or healed.

                                     *

Crimson dot of vermillion filled the heart,

like the sun filling the  sky with myriad shades,

                              *

Strong  passions play like wayward birds,

Flying at the horizon of intoxicating eyes.

                            *
