Quintesstential Dad
He stood tall when
the storms spoke
And sailed across the
oceans that woke
Days rised with him
being my sunshine
And nights were just in his arms
listening lullabies
He made me feel
like a princess
With growing years he taught
Me to be independent
so I could self adjust the crown
His rage was fire on days
which made me dull
But that gave me
an understanding how to behave
My dad is my strength
And whenever I hug him
I whisper to his heart
You are
Quintessential Dad!!!
Dedicated to unsung Heroes who don’t need Cape or a Crown… Daddy!
‘So I could self adjust my crown’. This says it all. Love to all fathers.
