.
A certain man of repute,
Stood and promised the moon,
To all and sundry.
For votes, he was hungry.
But when he won the race,
He went and hid his face.
And to the dogs went his country.
.
Five years later, this very man,
Shamelessly begged for votes again.
But this time when he promised the moon,
His nose stretched out at an alarming rate.
When he promised the sun,
His nose raced on to the Parliament’s gate.
This my friends, was Politician Pinnochio’s fate!
