Pikaboo, I See You!

#PoetryParlour #AZatPP #Day16#P

Peekaboo, I see you!

When the curtain is raised,

By lifting the blinds,

And a new dawn gazes at us,

With all emcompassing light,

God seems to say,

“Peekaboo,

Peekaboo,

I see you!”

.

When love overcomes hatred,

And other hurdles,

And destiny smiles at us,

After long, vigorous struggle,

God seems to say,

” Peekaboo,

Peekaboo,

I see you!”

.

When thunder and lightning,

Seems so frightening,

And yet, we stand up,

With a courage so brightening,

God seems to say,

“Peekaboo,

Peekaboo,

I see you!”

.

God says,

” I send the clouds,

  And the storms,

To give a glimpse of my rage.

   It is I who decide,

   Your reversal of fortune,

   And design,

   Your delusional phases.

    Let’s see,

   While playing,

   This game of thorns,

    Whether you can discover,

    The truth too-

And if yes,

With pleasure,

I will say,

Peekaboo,

Peekaboo,

I see you!”
