Nature bestowed us layered
Sweet, spicy and peppery
We spew acid to protect us
Making you cry
You value us as gold every so time or
Replace us mercilessly with garlic
Collaborate with pulses and veggies
Giving them our due credits
Is there a vegetable that makes you laugh
And is flavorful as onion ancestry.
