O Autumn Winds

Softly blow O autumn winds,

Still attached stalk to the stem

life fluttering

on the verge of eternal quiescence

drooping existence

breathes heavily,

the last hue of hope in me is pale now

Softly blow O autumn winds…

Let me see another dawn swaddled in ochre,

Let me embrace another tepid gold sun,

Before I surrender resistless to nothingness,

Let russet dusk to sing an elegy song

Before my ashes mingle to the dust spreading

over the bosom of the earth

Softly blow O autumn winds…
