Little girl the day
You were born
My world turned upside down
It is yet on the sunny side up
But while you were growing
You missed an important Milestone
You didn’t crawl like other babies
You know the mother instinct
Said everything is ok
But the parenting books
Gave me a story to worry
You didn’t not learn to sit or crawl
till you were nine months old
I wondered why
I let time take its course
It was around eleventh month
And you just stood up
I was overwhelmed with this achievement
I did not know what to do
To hold you or to let you be
And then you took your first ‘baby steps’
And you dropped in my arms
I knew you were born to rise
You missed a milsestone
But now you turn heads by your presence
