Midnight Dream

That midnight dream that wakes you

And you realize that something’s gone

Or something’s happened that you

Failed to realise

Failed to live in time

For you were too occupied

In duties

To survive the next day

Which was always unpredictable

Of how it would be

And whether it would exist

For you or not

That midnight dream that wakes you

And you realize you’ve lost so much

And you must now, gather back

The pieces, scattered everywhere

To build the nest you’d wanted to

And that midnight dream

That woke you up

Puts you back in slumber, once again

Only to wake you up again

Till you wish!

What do you think?
