Let go

Let go my heart,

Nostalgia of golden days and silver nights,

Smiles of love and friendly fights,

That love is gone that coloured your smile,

Be strong and brace to face the strife.

Pick up your broken pieces strewn around,

Don’t let them make a mocking sound,

Let go, let go,

Though I know,

A broken mirror will not be whole again,

It still will hold excruciating pain,

Hide it well ,

Let no one tell,

And build the citadel called life again.
