Kneel Down

#PoetryParlour #AZatPP#Day11#k

Kneel Down.

Sometimes, we women,

Have to kneel down,

Before patriarchal dictates.

Sometimes,

Before, cruel, capricious fate.

And sometimes ,

Before the fact that,

We are not empowered enough,

To retaliate.

At childhood,

It was a mere punishment.

But at this adulthood,

It is a tool of deprivement.

The point is-

We can kneel down,

If we learn the right things,

But should we kneel down,

If we are not treated as human beings?
