Epitaph

Not sleeping

awaken she is,

Entombed not

she is free

Broken all temporal

skeins entangled

of time ‘n bonds,

Swathed in solitude

of eternities,

Beneath the sods

where smiling hyacinths,

snowdrops bejewel her,

Where grey doves sing

lullaby for her.

Away from mundane

diurnals

she’s breathing in peace

away from life

contentedly she is living.
