I watch you everyday from the space,
That lies between your heart and mine,
In a passionate world do I dwell ,
While treading on love’s fiery lane,

When the dark nights wrap me round,
Scary loneliness spreads it’s claws,
Your image haunts my lonely soul,
I dream of letters for me you scrawl .

Every single word shines before me,
Drenched in your amorous glances,
Can decipher from each curve and slant,
Passions that lay in your tender heart.
***
Your billet-doux that you never wrote,
Those vows of love you never made ,
Like numerous stars in the ethereal space,
In my mind’ s eye , Will forever flash.
***
Each night I sit up and write you notes,
Answers for the letters you never wrote,
Then ask the zephyrs to carry forth,
Fragrance of passion from silly heart.
***
Like colourful autumn leaves that fall,
Twilight that sets landscapes on fire,
I will keep singing mellifluous lays,
Answering imaginary letters forever .
