Eclipsed!

the blues suddenly turn black

the superimposed cliffs in the distance shudder

the playful breeze halt itself trying to comprehend

colourful flocks scurry home,

frightened at the untimely darkness

and the Gold is gradually cloaking

the Orange king is no more glowing,

clouds of hatred, jealousy, bitterness

overshadow its brightness, gifting the earth an ephemeral gloom

But the lustre of the Gold can never be buried, it’ll shine through obstacles

and so the Golden orb smiles again, now as a Diamond Ring

killing its demons of spite, envy, resentment

eclipsed but hopeful, the fireball gleams with pride

real strength lies in overcoming the obstacles with courage and determination.💚

  1. and the Gold is gradually cloaking

the Orange king is no more glowing….this is fantabulous imagery

But the lustre of the Gold can never be buried, it’ll shine through obstacles

and so the Golden orb smiles again, now as a Diamond Ring

killing its demons of spite, envy, resentment

eclipsed but hopeful, the fireball gleams with pride…..this is so hopeful.

Very well you have penned the eclipse with never dying hope. Beautiful inspirational poetry. Admirations.
