Different Strokes

Those tender eyes,

Full of hopes and dreams,

Seem to tell a tale,

A tale of life they live.

.

We are different, they say,

Different from you and me.

It needn’t be physical always,

As we are different other ways.

.

Some of us like to read,

Some like to paint.

Some need to be cuddled,

And some can’t sit tight.

.

Words look dangerous,

Numbers too scare us.

We try to maintain a distance,

As sometimes people seem a menace.

.

Take time to understand us,

Give us time to adjust.

Don’t hasten to tag us,

As, the tags, forever exist.

.
