Dear diary
Day1In the serene library
Silence was mandatory
Concentration at its peak
A look I did sneak
My heart fluttered.
Day 2
Oblivious to the surrounding
Preoccupied in your being
A book I did pick
Survey of the room was quick
Heart played the drums
As your fragrance drifted in the room.
Day 3
Library is too hushed
I began to feel the crush
First move I must make
Before it is too late
Ah! There she is
A glance I did perceive.
Day 4
An alarm set in my mind
She walks in dot on time
Courage I did muster
The first hello
Like sails my heart did flutter.
Day 5
There she is
Seems to be eagerly waiting
As I stride towards her
The smile curves her lips
Scales tip towards me.
Day 5
It is Rose day
A red one it had to be
Feelings I could not contain
As her perfume wafted
Gave her the red rose
With a poem carefully drafted.
Day 6
The coffee shop beckoned
Our eyes met as we settled
Fingers entwined
Eyes enshrined in trance
Our being wallowed in love.

Loved. How it started in the library, red rose and then the coffee shop. Very thoughfully penned💚
Thank you Gowri
A positive one, with a simple rhythm, bring the smile on the reader’s lips.
Thank you Anuradha
A very refreshing take on love and chance. Such memorable and relatable moments, except that libraries, are forgotten places now.
Mumtaz, Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts
Yes, now with digital options library is an obsolete place but in my student days library was a solace
