Christmas blossoms in her heart

In the bustling bright city square

She strolls alone on Christmas eve

Tossing the cell phone in her purse

She absorbs joyful fleeting sights

            ****

She bows her head in silent prayer

Embracing magic of ‘believe’

Swaddling the crannies of her heart

With memory’s warm fairy lights

             ****

She smiles at every passerby,

Opening her soul to their joy

With gratitude, she treads ahead

An honest smile, sans inner fights

            ****

Tucking her world in ‘now’ with care

She generates a tranquil weave
