I woke up from deep slumber

Reviving from past embers

A blossom smiled through the window

Dew drops like pearlsShining on the ocean

A beacon of hope

After a dreary bleak night

Isit spring already

Or an illusion in my malady

The blossom smiled again

The wrath of winter I dare

I mock the gloom

With my fearless fare

With my beauty burst

For joy and revelry I thirst

I shall mock

The shadowy skies

Never will drown in disdain

The little blossom

Brought sunshine in my life

I left behind the shadows.
