Your unwavering gaze
Follows me around.
You fill up my nights
With heavenly light,
Sempiternally bound.
What lies on far side,
That so stubbornly, you hide,
With every bit of your might.
Bruised and battered,
Crude and cratered,
Ever out of my sight.
